Salons & barbers

Google review management for salons, barbers and beauty

Your clients choose you for how you make them feel. A copy-paste "Thanks for your review!" undoes that. We write warm, personal replies in your salon's voice, to every review.

In shortSalon and barber clients choose on trust and personal feel, and reviews are where new clients look first. Personal, specific replies show the care they'll get in the chair. We answer every review for UK salons, barbers and beauty businesses within 24 hours, from £59 a month.
The problem

Why salons & barbers fall behind on reviews

You're booked back to back

Hands in someone's hair all day, then admin, then stock. Replying to reviews is always tomorrow's job.

Generic replies feel cold

BrightLocal found half of consumers are put off by templated replies. Your salon is personal, so your replies should be too.

A bad colour review stings

"Asked for ash blonde, got orange." Handled badly, it scares off every new client. Handled well, it shows you'll put it right.

★★★★★

"Love the vibe and my stylist was sweet but the balayage came out much warmer than I asked for."

Reply from the ownerAisha, thank you for coming in, and I'm really glad you liked the space and Mia. Tone is so personal, and if it's warmer than you wanted, we want to fix it. Toning within two weeks is always on us, so drop us a message and we'll get you booked in at a time that suits you.

Example written for illustration. Because it's under 3 stars, we'd have rung you before posting it.

Questions

Salons & barbers: common questions

Why should a salon reply to Google reviews?

New clients read your reviews before booking, and replies show how you treat people. Google also says replying shows you value feedback, and reviews contribute to how prominent your business looks in local search.

Will replies mention my stylists by name?

Only if you want them to. Many salons like thanking the stylist by first name, because it feels personal and helps clients book the right person. We agree this with you at the start.

How do you reply to a bad colour or cut review?

We call you first, agree what you're happy to offer (for example a free tone or correction), then reply warmly without arguing about what was asked for. The aim is to show the next client you'll put things right.

Do you also help us get more reviews?

Yes. The Complete plan (£129/month) includes a review-request kit with QR cards for the desk and ready-made WhatsApp and text messages, all within Google's rules. That means no incentives for reviews.
